The Venato scuro travertine selection has a beige background and veined and spotted pieces primarily with a dark background. Together with Terra Chiara (PDR013), is is one of the typical colours of Rapolano Stone.

The clouding and veining featured in this travertine, along with the hardness of the material, make it particularly suited and appreciated for outdoor tiles.

The product is available in the following finishes:

Campagna (Chipped edges)Rustic material with chipped edges. This creates floors with an antique, lived-in appearance, like in old farmhouses in the Crete Senesi.

Duomo: Open pouros, brushed(Brushed. Can be made in both Moderno and Rurale)Easily maintained material with a velvety surface that is pleasant to the touch and highlights the true nature of our stone.

Futura: Filled and polished, smooth(Honed and filled)Finely honed material, calibrated, filled with properly coloured material for easily maintained surfaces with a contemporary flavour.

Moderno: Filled and honed, smoothFilled with suitably coloured material, finely honed and calibrated. This provides an easily maintained, elegant and modern finish.

Rinascimento: Filled and honed by handHand-polished material obtaining a slightly wavy surface that reproduces the wear over time that can be seen in the floors of old Romanesque churches.

Rurale: open pouros, honed“Open pore” material finely honed and calibrated.

Rustica: Open pouros, brushed with chiselled edgesRustic material with chipped edges, but soft to the touch thanks to brushing.

Stone cut

Nuvolato (Cross Cut)
The blocks are cut parallel to the sense of stratification. With this way of cutting, the material shows nuances with shades of tone, making each piece unique.

Sealing

To enhance the beauty of this product and simplify cleaning it is recommended to treat with a hydro / oleo repellent product. It is advisable to repeat the treatment once or twice a year, to maintain its beauty intact.

Cleaning

Always use neutral soaps when cleaning this product. Do not use anti-calcium products to avoid altering the surface finish. The marbles, stones, travertines are composed of a high percentage of calcium carbonate, which can be attacked by acid products.
